Left Of Time

Most times I don't really know what to think of this guy.
But here's a poem.
I think that it has some resonance...

LEFT OF TIME
If Time is your Right
Then what’s left?
The unforeseeable future
The taste of wings?
Who loses? Who wins?
Some crazy bastards poker game
Infecting the present
A changing in madness
Slippery after-lives wherever you look
A disease of mirrors
Strangled too soon
I could see the future
If only I had the right words to describe it
But there’re none left
Time and Time again
There will be none left
Calypso, my queen
Horus, a dying bird
In Eden we shall be distracted
And gone in the blink of an eye
Sorrow has been too good for us
We shall leave with a whisper
For song has fled from our hearts
And we fail to remember
All the entrances to our hearts
Take Time
Take what’s left
One last Time

Beginnings after the End

For a while now I have been thinking about this space.
Only recently I came across many of Lansky's works but i was immediately captured by the clear passion in his writing but also by the fact that no one seems to have heard about him.

you can try and search the web but I doubt it you will find any info about him. I've tried but the man seems practically non-existent.

Which isn't too surprising if you get to know some of his life...

In any case, I've been thinking about this and I've decided to break the ice. I'm going to try and post here some excerpts from his books and some poems that have inspired me in some ways.

Hopefully you'll enjoy them!
peace.
